Nova Aetas Renaissance is an atypical dungeon crawler for 1-6 players, set in the hectic universe of Nova Aetas Chronicoles.
Explore lands, cities, and towns of Renaissance Italy, interact with many characters and discover if they are valuable allies or stubborn enemies to fight, cooperate with other heroes, complete missions, get fame, and decide your ultimate fate!

Nova Aetas is one of the most astonishing board game you will ever play.
Inside you will find the core and all the stretch goals unlocked during the Kickstarter campaign: 90 miniatures, hundreds of cards, many 3D buildings, tiles, tokens…and much more awaits you!

Italy, AD 1508. Winds of war are rising over the cradle of the Renaissance. The clash between Rome and Venice for dominance over the Italian peninsula is inevitable, and control of an ancient and powerful artifact will be the keystone for deciding who will be victorious in this dispute. As young members of a small company of Mercenaries, you find yourselves at the center of schemes and battles for the control of the Blood of Gaea and supremacy over the heart of Renaissance Europe!

Character Building

Each Hero of Nova Aetas Renaissance is unique, each has their own personal story that leads them to face dangerous missions, each with their own purpose.
Each Hero has their own personal skill and a starting class, but they can acquire new skills and evolve by choosing one of the two Advanced Classes. The Heroes will advance by characterizing themselves in a unique way, even if you would like to replay a campaign with the same Hero. A “Save” system will allow you to resume the game even after long pauses, to change and evolve more Heroes to have a larger group or to play with different friends.

Thank to the Horologium, the game can activate special events at specific times and provide a limited time to carry out the missions.
In addition, this system guarantees a dynemic activation systema that can change from time to time based on your choice and the enemies you are facing.

Adavanced Enemy AI

The enemie’s artificial intelligence system will amaze you by putting your tactical skill to the test.
Linked to the Perilium, wich indicates your danger perceived by each enemy, this decision-making ability allows them to also follow personal missions.
Sometimes you will have to thwart their plans.
